Autofilling Usernames and Passwords on iOS with ElePass

April 3, 2018 0

If you use ElePass on your iPhone or iPad, an extension is available that makes it easy to autofill your credentials in Safari without having to flip back to the ElePass app to copy usernames and passwords.

To use the ElePass extension, follow these steps:

  1. Open Safari and click the “Share” icon:
  2. Scroll all the way to the right along the bottom row and click “More”:
  3. In the list that pops up, toggle ElePass on. You can also drag it up to the top of the list if you want it to shop up at the beginning of your extensions list:
  4. You can now use the ElePass extension on any site you want to autofill credentials with. Navigate to the site, select Share and then the ElePass extension. You should see the credentials for that site come up. If they don’t for some reason, you can search for them at the top. Tapping the credential will autofill it in safari.
  5. If you haven’t used the extension in the past five minutes, you will be prompted to re-enter your password or use Touch/Face ID to re-authenticate.
