It’s Almost Spring! Here’s What’s New in ElePass

March 12, 2019 0

It’s been a busy Winter for us as we continue to work on optimizing ElePass and developing new features for ElePass. Over the past few months, we have released several small updates that I want to recap for you. We have seen some strong growth over the past few months and some great feedback has been sent our way for how we can improve our product and create something agencies love to us on a daily basis. Let’s take a look at what’s new!

Becoming Globally Available

We are excited to see so many of our users start to appear in countries around the world! Originally, our apps were not supported for countries outside of the USA, so we made a few modifications to ensure that was now an option for multiple new countries in the Windows/Android/Apple App Stores. There is still work that needs to be done here to truly be globally-ready, but this puts us on the right track for growth.

Refer a Business – Enjoy a Free Month!

We recently opened up our own referral program for ElePass. If you are an Agency subscribed company, you will now have a link at the bottom of your screen to invite others to try out ElePass and see if it’s a good fit for their business. For every business that subscribes to ElePass, you get a free month for your company! All of your users are able to refer and give back to the company.

Browser Extension Improvements

The extension is a constantly evolving piece of our platform and one that will continue to evolve as our users come across new websites that are a bit.. “challenging”.. to work with. The most significant improvements here are just the overall speed of the extension and smarter handling of complex forms.

Stricter User Permissions

For company admins, we have added a new option for all users to allow them to see the options to copy the usernames/passwords for credentials across the board. By default – every user will be able to copy credentials in their browser or browser extension at the click of a button. This new option removes that access and forces users to autofill on websites. This isn’t foolproof by any means – some websites will still allow you to copy from form fields and continue on. The end-goal here is to make it less convenient for users to do anything purposefully or accidentally malicious with the credentials of your clients. Note: The user must have the Chrome browser extension in order to autofill a credential. This is not optional.

Significant Performance Enhancements

If you are a daily user of ElePass, you will notice this week that everything feels much smoother and faster. Search is significantly faster, the extensions and applications have seen a performance increase as well. This is an area we are always striving to improve to keep ElePass as unobtrusive your daily workflow as possible.
